The goal of the proposed doctoral dissertation is the implementation of innovative semi-supervised
learning techniques on a multimodal flow of information which may have originated from text, image,
video, etc. This dissertation will study techniques from the broader research area of data science and
more specifically from the scientific areas of computer vision, digital image processing, machine
learning, deep learning, processing and analysis of multimedia information.
