Between September and end December 2013, the following PhD theses were successfully defended:

  • Bournaka Georgia: "Mathematical Optimization and Signal Processing Techniques for Cooperative Wireless Networks", University of Loughborough, Nov. 2013 (Ms Bournaka’s PhD is the first degree completed under the Joint PhD Programme between Loughborough University and NCSR "Demokritos").
  • Doliotis Pavlos: "Viewpoint Invariant Gesture Recognition and 3D Hand Pose Estimation using RGB-D"
