ahedd is a spinoff company of NCSR Demokritos. It was founded after five years of consistent growth, research, and hands-on support to the Greek innovation ecosystem. The hub was launched by the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications and the Innovation Office of Demokritos, with a clear mission: to support businesses and public organisations in adopting advanced digital technologies. Focused on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and the Internet of Things, ahedd helps small and medium-sized enterprises navigate the path toward digital transformation with clarity and confidence.

Over the years, ahedd has gained strong recognition in Greece and abroad. It became a Platinum member of the Big Data Value Association and joined the European DIGITAL SME Alliance. It also leads Smart Attica, the first European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for AI in Greece, having already supported more than 3,700 organisations. ahedd works closely with startups, SMEs, and institutions to deliver real results, connecting research with practice. Becoming a spinoff is not just a milestone; it’s a long-term commitment to innovation, sustainability, and growth at both national and international levels.
