NCSR-D has established a Research Ethics Committee (REC) with the aim to ensure the ethically correct conduct of research projects at NCSR-D.

Regulatory Framework for PhD supervision

In January 2022 NCSR-D adopted a regulatory framework for PhD supervision, aiming to establish common rules for all students conducting their PhD research at NCSR-D and to regulate their rights and obligations towards the Centre.

Internal Regulatory Framework on Research Exploitation- Technology Transfer

NCSR-D has been a pioneer in innovation creation. The Board’s decision regulated, for the first time in entirety and full range, the processes through which NCSR-D will support Researchers in patenting, collaboration with Industry and establishment of spin-off companies.

Policy on Gender Equality

IIT fully adopts NCSR-D’s decision to develop and implement a detailed Gender Equality Plan (GEP).

National Plan for Open Science

NCSR-D, mainly through IIT, actively participated to Greece’s Open Science Task Force, a collaborative bottom-up initiative of 11 national academic & research organisations and twenty-six research infrastructures & civic initiatives to draft a National Plan for Open Science.
