The first large scale exercise of the FP7 Demonstration Project PERSEUS Eastern Campaign and its validation took place in Greece (Ikaria and Piraeus), with the participation of the Hellenic Coast Guard and the Hellenic Ministry of Defense, integrating systems and assets from various industrial and research labs partners across EU, under a common System of Systems solution developed by IIT.
This was a large scale exercise for the 2nd PERSEUS Demonstration event which will take place on the 15th of October 2014, and will be hosted by the Hellenic Coast Guard and the Hellenic Ministry of Defence. The one-day event is designed to allow users and other key stakeholders to participate to PERSEUS exercises and to show them the actual operation of PERSEUS enhanced assets and the additional benefits brought on by these enhancements.
PERSEUS project organizes two Demonstration Events: the 1st PERSEUS Demonstration Event took place the 24th September 2013, in Madrid, Spain, and was hosted by Guardia Civil, while the 2nd PERSEUS Demonstration event will take place on the 15th of October 2014, and will be hosted by the Hellenic Coast Guard and the Hellenic Ministry of Defence.
