Event participation of ahedd DIH across Europe

ahedd DIH of Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications participated in various events across Europe including webinars, conferences and workshops on digital innovation, data management and AI.

More specifically ahedd participated in the following events:

“Data Sovereignty in the Digital Decade – For a stronger digital Europe in the world”, which held on Tuesday 4 October 2022, a webinar focusing on Data Sovereignty in the context of Europe’s Digital Decade, and was organised by Futurium, a DG Connect platform that facilitates open dialogue on EU digital policies.
online GALACTICA workshop with DIHs “How textile, aerospace and AM companies can be supported by DIHs and the role of clusters in this bridging”, which held on Tuesday 22 November 2022 and the GALACTICA project partnership invited ahedd DIH to present Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub.
physical event “The green and digital transition as a growth driver for Greek businesses“, which held on Wednesday 30 November 2022, was organised by IDEC, an education, consulting and high-tech company and the Piraeus Chamber of Small and Medium Industries and aimed at informing enterprises about the shift towards green development and the improvement of the employees’ digital skills.
European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2022 “At the Heart of the Ecosystem for Data and AI” took place on 21-23 November 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic, was organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) and aimed to advance policy actions, and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI.
“Educating in Innovation” conference, took place on 1-3 December 2022 in the Regional Council Hall of the Region of Thessaly and in the JOIST Innovation Park, was organised by the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government, and highlighted the importance of innovation in the public sector, listing good practices developed and applied in Greece or in other countries, that can be used by public agencies and organizations. Periklis Terlixidis, Operating Officer of ahedd DIH, participated in the panel discussion “Presentation of good innovation practices in public administration” and talked about”AI applications in public administration” and digital transformation in the public sector.
Piraeus Business conference, took place on 14 – 15 December 2022 in the venue of the Piraeus Port Authority, an initiative of the Municipality of Piraeus and its units (the Business Support Center, the StartUPireaus Support Center and the Knowledge and Innovation Community for the Blue Economy in Piraeus) and the University of Piraeus. Periklis Terlixidis, Operating Officer of ahedd DIH, participated in the panel discussion “Digital Innovation and Startup Entrepreneurship” and talked about “ahedd DIH, NCSR Demokritos and its role in promoting digital innovation in Greece”.
