Continuing its dissemination activities, the H2020 European project AI4Copernicus participated in the BDVA Data Week 2021. On 25 May 2021 a presentation was delivered by project coordinator Dr Vangelis Karkaletsis in the session Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Technologies for Earth Observation. The project’s objectives and goals were communicated at the spring gathering of the European Big Data and Data-Driven AI research and innovation community.

Simultaneously, Dr George Giannakopoulos, researcher at SKEL | The AI Lab and founding member of the non-profit organisation SciFY, also presented at BDVA Data Week 2021, on 27 May 2021 in the session How SMEs can Promote Citizen-Centric AI and Responsible Data Use.
