AI4Copernicus, a project coordinated by SKEL | The AI Lab, is ongoing with its two rounds (1st & 2nd) of Open Calls running, until 30 of September and 31 of October, respectively. As its dissemination activities continue, the project was introduced at the AI4EU Café, a webinar conducted by the AI4EU project in collaboration with AI4EO on 15 September 2021.

More specifically, Dr Vangelis Karkaletsis, Director of IIT and coordinator of AI4Copernicus, highlighted the Open Calls process of the project and elaborated on the main objectives of the project in a talk titled: Enabling AI & Earth Observation Innovation: Integrating AI4EU platform with DIAS platforms. The talk was co-presented with Annekatrien Debien, Project Director of AI4EO project.
