Aligning natural language sentences using word similarity scores extracted from synonym graphs

Aligning natural language sentences is a vital step that is needed in order to justify entailment or contradiction between two texts. The goal of the alignment is, given two texts written in the same language, to conclude if two texts describe the same situation by comparing the correspondence of subsets of words between the two texts using similarity scores.
