The ARIADNE project participated in the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2022 in Grenoble from 8 to 10 June 2022, where the consortium showcased project progress and two demos.
More specifically, Nokia presented their work on Beamforming Optimisation using Deep Reinforcement Learning and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS), while Rapidminer presented their work on Predictive machine learning (ML) model for LoS loss in environment-specific channel modeling to improve design time understanding through interactive exploration. At the same time, representatives from NCSR Demokritos and Eurescom were present to give more explanations and details about the project.
It was a promising participation that captured the interest and initiated interaction with the visitors. The whole experience and the positive feedback would contribute to the final review by the end of the project and to future collaboration opportunities.
The event itself brought together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses, globally attracting representatives from more than 40 countries all over the world, to present and discuss the latest results, and an exhibition with more than 70 exhibitors, for demonstrating the technology developed in the area, namely within research projects from EU R&I programmes.
