This talk will address a coordinated multicell beamforming technique for signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) balancing under multiple basestation (BS) power constraints. Rather than balancing SINR of all users in all cells, the method proposed by us considers a new approach to balance SINR of users at various cells to different levels.
This multi-level SINR balancing problem can be solved using SINR constraints based SINR balancing criterion and sub gradient methods. The talk will conclude with possible extension of this work for basestation-relay cooperation using various design criteria.
