In March 2023, the Roboskel group of SKEL | The AI Lab at NCSR Demokritos launches an new online training course for Robot Operating System (ROS2) addressed to students and graduates of informatics, electrical and computer engineering, and other related fields. Through the training, participants will be introduced to fundamental ROS & ROS2 concepts and will be able to create their system of autonomous navigation.
At the end of the training, on 24 March 2023, participants will have the chance to partake in a Kart Race Challenge ending on 9 April 2023. Which kart will win?

A few words about ROS
Robot Operating System (ROS) is a widely used tool in the research and industrial area, allowing the operational management of the individual systems of a robotic system. More than 500 private companies and 200 academic institutions around the world use the ROS system (see the rosmap), while recently, the ROS2 was created to meet the needs of real-time and space applications.
