The article Artificial intelligence in special education: A decade review has been included in a Strategic Policy document of the Government Office of Science and the Council for Science and Technology of the UK. The study has been written by Dr Athanasios S. Drigas, Head of the Net Media Lab and Research Director in the IIT, NCSR Demokritos and Ms Rodi Eleni Ioannidou in 2012 and was published in the International Journal of Engineering Education.
