Dr. S.C.A. Thomopoulos, Director of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IIT) and head of the Integrated Systems Laboratory (ISL), visited the University of Southern California (USC) in April 17-20, 2015, where he held discussions with the dean of the Viterbi School of Engineering, the dean of and faculty from the School of Architecture, and David Τraum, Director for Natural Language Research at the Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT), regarding a joint PhD program between IIT/NCSR Demokritos and USC.
