After two years of online classes, the 57th Summer School of NCSR Demokritos was back in physical mode this year, taking place on campus between 11 and 15 July 2022.
As every year, the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications, participated, with many interesting talks that were delivered by Lab researchers on Tuesday 12 July 2022, covering the full spectrum of the Institute’s research areas.
About the 57th Summer School: Live talks, invited researchers from Greek Universities and abroad, Lab visits and meetings with NCSR Demokritos’ Researchers. Special thematic sections, round tables and more, introduced the participating students to the world of positive research.

- Information Technology, Telecommunications and Applications
- Energy – Environment – Safety
- Nanotechnology and Modern Materials
- High Energies, Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Technology and
- Applications in Environment, Health, Materials and Cultural Heritage
By the end of the program, students had the opportunity to explore the possibilities of post-graduate studies in NCSR Demokritos as well as in other countries, while company representatives will talk to them about career opportunities.
