G. Retsinas and P. Kaddas from the Computational Intelligence Laboratory (CIL) of IIT, participated in the 16th International Conference on Frontiers in Handwriting Recognition (ICFHR 2018), Niagara Falls, USA, where they presented the following papers:
– “Panagiotis Kaddas and Basilis Gatos, A deep Convolutional Encoder-Decoder Network for Page Segmentation of Historical Handwritten Documents into Text Zones” and
– “George Retsinas, Giorgos Sfikas, Georgios Louloudis, Nikolaos Stamatopoulos and Basilis Gatos, Compact Deep Descriptors for Keyword Spotting”.
