The Director at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos, Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, participated in the 2nd panel discussion of the 14th Pharmaceutical Management Conference, on the topic of “How do stakeholders in the field of Health use innovation & information in Greece”.
The conference was held on April 3, 4 and 5, 2024 at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC).
“Pharmadise: Leading healthcare intelligence” was the title of 2024’s conference and its goal was to highlight the leadership role of pharmaceutical market executives and analyse the skills required for the future. In this context, the topic of the scientific program, among others, included:
- Presentation and analysis of the changes in the macro-environment of Health following the significant challenges and opportunities that will follow the revision of the European Pharmaceutical Legislation for Greece
- Propositions how companies in the industry can innovate in digital health to meet today’s challenges
- Conducting a workshop with the aim of developing the professional networking of pharmaceutical market executives, utilising the LinkedIn platform
- Analysis of the integration of Artificial Intelligence and the new models shaping the future of Healthcare
- Analysis of the evolving labor market landscape and the competencies and skills required for pharmaceutical executives to remain competitive.
