The Document Intelligence Centre of Excellence (DICE) at IIT continues its strong presence at the ACM International Conference on AI in Finance (ICAIF) 2025, with its research team presenting two papers at this year’s event.

IIT collaborating researchers Konstantinos Bougiatiotis and Andreas Sideras shared their paper, “Positive-Unlabelled Learning for Financial Misstatement Detection under Realistic Constraints,” which was featured in the poster session, as well as their second study, “A Multimodal Alignment-Based Anomaly Detection Method for Bankruptcy Prediction,” which was presented as a talk.

ICAIF is a peer-reviewed academic conference that brings together experts from universities, industry, financial institutions, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to explore the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the financial sector.

Since ICAIF’s inception, the DICE team has maintained a strong and consistent contribution to the conference, supported in part by the ongoing Demokritos – QUALCO Fellowship Programme.
