IIT will actively contribute to the workshop “Advancing Network Digital Twins (NDTs) for AI-driven 6G systems: Insights, applications, and cross-project synergies”, held in the context of the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026, taking place in Málaga, Spain, on 3–6 June 2026, one of Europe’s leading events on next-generation communication networks.

This participation is represented through seven (7) ongoing projects6G-SANDBOX, MARE, SUNRISE-6G, UNITY-6G, 6G-Cloud, ENVELOPE, and INTACT — driven by the research teams FRONT and CORE, reflecting a strong and coordinated effort across the Institute.

The workshop focuses on Network Digital Twins (NDTs), a key technological enabler for AI-native 6G networks. NDTs enable the creation of real-time digital replicas of network infrastructures, supporting advanced capabilities such as simulation, optimisation, and predictive analytics. These technologies are expected to play a central role in the design, operation, and management of future communication systems.

Through this contribution, the Institute supports cross-project collaboration and knowledge exchange on critical topics such as interoperability, scalability, and AI integration, strengthening Europe’s path towards intelligent and resilient 6G networks.
