How will 5G change the world? is the title of the new documentary series that Cosmote Mobile Telecommunications company launched in April 2021. The series consists of six episodes that showcase what 5G network is capable of and how it affects our lives in many areas.
Dr Tasos Kourtis, Research Director at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications and Head of the Media Networks Laboratory (MNL) participated in the series, mentioning that the use of 5G network can contribute to education when school students conduct experiments remotely and can change the world on how we have access to entertainment. Dr Kourtis points out that “5G technology is not good nor bad, the use of 5G can be defined as good or bad”.
