The Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications participated in the workshop Quantum Computing, on 2 July 2022, which was organised by the Lab of Statics and Seismic Research of the NTUA School of Civil Engineering and the research group MGroup (Multidisciplinary Computational Mechanics Research Group).
The event, under the DComEX Research Program: Data Driven Computational Mechanics at Exascale, took place in hybrid mode, physically on Spetses island and online. Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, Director of the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications at NCSR Demokritos had the opportunity to talk about the Quantum and HPC technologies and infrastructures.
