MNL researcher, Dr Harilaos Koumaras was invited by the Telecommunications Technological Centre of Catalonia (CTTC) to participate in the PhD Schools of ITN H2020 SEMANTIC project, to give a speech on the 5G system and Vertical Industries KPIs in the context of the H2020 5Genesis project. The event was held virtually on Tuesday 16 February 2021 and the audience consisted of PhD candidates in the field of mobile communications.
The EU-funded SEMANTIC project will create an advanced research and training structure for multi-GHz spectrum communications, MEC-empowered service provisioning and end-to-end network slicing. The project intends to train early stage researchers (ESRs) with guidance from industry professionals for the exploitation of the enormous potentiality 5G technology offers.
