The BioASQ series of challenges, which is being organized for the fifth year in a row by the SKEL Lab of II&T, pushes the research frontier in biomedical information systems and attracts increasing participation from all continents.
The BioASQ challenge, already established as a reference point for biomedical semantic indexing and question answering, this year grows introducing a new task in extraction of funding information from Biomedical literature (http://participants-area.bioasq.org/general_information/Task5c/), in collaboration with the NIH/NLM.
