The Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications at NCSR Demokritos has achieved a new milestone in the 6G research domain. The FRONT research group, headed by Dr. Harilaos Koumaras is taking on a pivotal role as Technical Coordinator in the newly kicked off SAFE-6G project.
The project’s kick off meeting was held on the 16 – 17 January 2024 at the Telefónica premises in Madrid, Spain. This event was the first face-to-face meeting of representatives from the 13 partnering organisations enabling them to discuss the project’s upcoming activities.
SAFE-6G is a three-year initiative funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. It is dedicated to enhancing trustworthiness in user-centric 6G networks.
