Having completed successfully the 4th round of the SMARTcamp science workshops for students 14-18 years old, the Integrated Systems Laboratory of NCSR “Demokritos” wishes to all participants a great summer break.
The students and their parents expressed their enthusiasm both about the workshops organization and also the good spirit between the students and the tutors who were next to the children daily for 2 weeks.
In a fully equipped classroom, students performed in an atmosphere that combined entertainment, knowledge and many personal achievements. The participants created their animated videos, they edited and composed their digital stories, they assembled Robbie the robot and they learned coding scenarios of action.
The following quotes, coming from some students, empower the ambition to scale-up SMARTcamp workshops, preserving the high quality knowledge delivery.
“I managed to fully understand things that, up to now, were not clear to me and I realized how much interested I am in Robotics.”
