The activities of Wireless Communications Laboratory (WiCom) related to the implementation of a MIMO experimental platform at the physical layer, have been supported by TI’s “European University Program”. The world’s leading manufacturer of DSP chips, kindly donated to our lab DSP development kits (based upon the TMS320C6713 DSP), evaluation modules (TRF1122EVM and TRF1115EVM that enable RF over-the-air communication) as well as the latest version of Code Composer Studio. The enrichment of our software and hardware infrastructure will significantly enhance our corresponding research and training activities.
