The Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos participated in the 13th EETN Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN 2024), which was held in Piraeus, Greece between 11-13 September 2024. The conference was organised by the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN) in collaboration with the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus.
On the final day of the conference, colleagues Costas Spyropoulos and Antonis Koukourikos presented “The European AI on Demand platform and the AI ecosystem model“.
The formal representation of the AIoD conceptual model is a set of semantic resources, in a dedicated repository. The model itself is expressed as a semantic web ontology following the OWL2 W3C specification. Taxonomies used in the model are expressed as SKOS vocabularies.
The repository hosts and maintains all material related to the AIoD Metadata Model and its formal specification, while providing detailed documentation and dynamic visualization features.
Issue reporting and feature requests will be carried out via the relevant functionalities provided by GitHub, until the finalization of the relevant task. Subsequently, the normative publication of the ontology and the associated semantic resources will coincide with the submission of the relevant D3.4 deliverable at M36 of the project.
