The Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IIT) has released its Annual Report for the year 2024. The comprehensive document highlights the Institute’s significant achievements, research advancements, and collaborative projects over the past year.
This year’s focus is on strengthening IIT’s role in the national and European AI strategy as Director Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis emphases in his editorial: Following our work on GenAI Greece 2030, IIT continued to support national policymaking, contributing to the development of Greece’s new AI strategy in 2024. This year, IIT also deepened its role in DeployAI, contributing to the evolution of the AI-on-Demand Platform and its rollout to support SMEs and public institutions across Europe.
