On 6-8 November 2013 the Commission hold ICT 2013 in Vilnius.
IIT, NCSR “Demokritos” is coordinating USEFIL (Unobstrusive Smart Environments For Independent Living) project (FP7-ICT-2011-7) which is invited to showcase its results at ICT 2013 in Vilnius, as part of the exhibition.
The visitors of the USEFIL prototypes technology – innovation stand (5A10, located in Zone R1 digitally empowered citizen)
had experienced how an elderly can maintain awareness of his relatives’ activities through a tablet’s user interface.
were able to interact with smart watch device experiencing its applications
had experienced how a “smart” mirror that uses an inexpensive equipment, can assist in assessing the physiological and emotional of the monitored user.
were able to get registered in the USEFIL portal and interact with USEFIL’s services on Phillips’ SmartTV.
