The Open Science Days conference took place on 21-22 October 2021 and was organised by “Athena” Research Centre. Dr Vangelis Karkaletsis, Director of IIT at NCSR Demokritos, participated in the round table discussion of the two-day event on 22 0ctober.

Open Science Days were held in the context of the completion of the HELIX project, and the start of production of the Hellenic Data Service, with the support of the OpenAIRE National Node in Greece and the National Library of Greece. The event hosted collaborators and prominent personalities from Greece and abroad, in order to collect case studies from their experience in regard to the design and implementation of Open Science, as well as to strengthen the communication and cooperation of local political communities.
