The YouthGovAI project was presented at the 3rd Working Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education, organized by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France, 8–9 October 2025. The conference brought together policymakers, researchers, educators and civil society representatives to discuss the opportunities and challenges of integrating artificial intelligence in education.
Dora Katsamori, researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IIT), NCSR Demokritos, Scientific Coordinator of the YouthGovAI project, and member of the Council of Europe Working Group on AI and Education,participated in the discussions and presented the project’s objectives and ongoing activities. YouthGovAI focuses on empowering young people and youth organisations to engage in dialogue and policymaking processes related to artificial intelligence governance in Europe.

The conference provided an opportunity to exchange views with European stakeholders and to highlight the importance of youth participation in shaping responsible and inclusive AI policies in the field of education.
