Dr Dimitrios Vogiatzis is a collaborating research at NCSR “Demokritos” since 2007. He is also affiliated with the American College of Greece (ACG), where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in machine learning, artificial intelligence and complex networks. He is the coordinator of MS in Data Science at ACG.
He graduated from the Department of Informatics & Telecommunication, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens; MSc in Knowledge Based Systems, University of Edinburgh; PhD in Knowledge Extraction form Neural Networks, National Technical University of Athens. Dr Vogiatzis has served as visiting professor at the University of Cyprus. He has participated in national and European research projects and has more than 60 publications in conferences, journals and book chapters. Dr. Vogiatzis research interests are in machine learning, data mining, and in the analysis of complex graphs with applications in social network analysis and precision medicine.
