Dora Katsamori is an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National Centre for Scientific Research ‘Demokritos’. She holds a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration with a MSc and a PhD in the field of Citizenship and Human Rights Education and inclusion. Her research interests lie in the field of (Digital) Citizenship & Human Rights Education, focusing in social disadvantaged groups, AI Literacy & Media Literacy, AI Ethics as well as citizens’ engagement. She is an Academic Fellow in the field of Social Pedagogy (University of Patras). She is also a certified adult educator and collaborates with the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation as a trainer. She has an extensive experience as a researcher and project manager through her participation in various national and European funded projects (Erasmus+, Horizon2020 & EEA grants). She is a member of the Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe (DARE) Network, the Networking European Civic Education (NECE), the AI & Education Expert Group of the CoE and the Organizing Committee of The Lyceum project.
