Evangelos Michelioudakis holds a diploma and an MSc in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete. He conducted his diploma thesis at the Kouretes RoboCup group, studying Multi-Robot Coordination under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Michail G. Lagoudakis. Then, he pursed an MSc on Online Structure Learning for Event Recognition along the CER group at NCSR “Demokritos”. He is currently a PhD candidate at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, under the guidance of Dr. Georgios Paliouras and Dr. Alexander Artikis. In parallel, he is a research associate in the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications and he is involved in various EU-Funded research projects. His research interests are mainly focused on AI, Machine Learning, Optimization, Time-Series, and Event Recognition.
