Giorgos Farazis graduated from the Architecture Engineering program in National Technical University of Athens in 2010 and after graduated from the Digital Arts postgraduate program at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He now attends the postgraduate program of “Conservation and Restoration of Historic Buildings and Sites”. He has worked on proposal presentations for projects and competitions, collaborating with architects and other professionals such as with Hellenic Institute of Marine Archeology (in a survey of underwater seabed antiquities) since 2010 from photogrammetry to visual representation, and with the architectural group that earned the first prize in the International Piraeus Cultural Coast Competition in 2012. He is currently working on the project in the Integrated Systems Laboratory of the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” of creating digital reconstitutions and tours of archaeological sites, used also as a platform for educational creative games. Within the field of digital arts he specializes in 3d modeling & rendering, 3d environment, 3d animation, procedural texturing. Other skills and activities of his include the creation of comics for animation, participation and organizing of group events, and the creation of audiovisual and spacial installations.
