Konstantina Giouvanopoulou holds an MSc, with Honours, in International and European Policies on Education, Training and Research from the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus and a bachelor’s degree in Classical Philology from the School of Philosophy (Faculty of Philology) of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is currently a PhD Candidate at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in collaboration with NCSR-D in the field of Research Ethics Reviews and AI Ethics.

She has a long career in the field of Education since 2006, and after completing her master’s degree, her interests are mainly focused on Εducation, AI Ethics and Research Ethics. She is currently employed as a research collaborator at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of the NCSR-Demokritos and is a member of the AI Politeia Lab at IIT, which is an interdisciplinary research lab exploring the ethical, social, and policy implications of AI-driven innovation.
