Maria Christopoulou holds a BSc in Physics (2014) and a MSc in Radioelectrology and Electronics (2016) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has been employed in the private sector as an Applications Engineer specializing in LTE/WiMAx networks deployment and fiber optic products sales support. She has also participated in the software development of the “Scidoe-Design of Experiments” Toolbox for “Scilab”, an open source mathematical modelling framework. She is currently working as a Collaborating Researcher in the Media Networks Laboratory (MNL) at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos and is involved in various EU-Funded projects on research and development of programmable networks and 5G technologies.
