I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management and Technology from the University of Piraeus (2018–2022), graduating with distinction. My undergraduate research focused on production modeling in cellular manufacturing systems, cultivating a strong interest in mathematical programming and the modeling of techno-economic systems.
I completed my Master’s degree in Informatics at the University of Piraeus, where my thesis explored the integration of classical dialectics, drawing on Platonic Socrates, into dialogical AI systems.
I am currently pursuing a PhD and serve as a Research Associate at the National Centre for Scientific Research Demokritos (AI Politeia Lab, IIT). My doctoral research examines when an AI system is genuinely worthy of trust, approaching trustworthiness as an emergent property of the broader socio-technical ecosystem. By combining socio-technical systems theory, graph-based methods, and mathematical programming with applied ethics and philosophy, I develop complementary algorithmic and non-algorithmic frameworks for assessing AI trustworthiness.
