The proposed investment aims at the development of a smart Digital Platform for re-publishing Historical Greek Books. The aim is to develop new techniques and methodologies for text recognition (mostly polytonic, modern and foreign-language) for scientific cultural heritage documentation, as well as reducing the time and cost of all relevant processes (digitization – documentation) related to the re-publishing of historical Greek Books in modern Greek language. Achieving the above goal will be done through a modern digital visualization and document management platform that will allow for the immediate, easy-to-use and user-friendly processed texts.
