Unlike other technologies, AI has the ability to make increasingly complex decisions. While this enables many new opportunities to enhance performance of products, services, and organisations, with decisions comes also accountability – and possible liability and risks. The presentation will focus on some opportunities and challenges organisations face with AI, and on how to manage these using a holistic approach that is necessary for this technology. It will also include suggestions for research directions that the academic and business communities may need to focus on.
