Several ICT & Security organizations around Europe participated to the Open Market Consultation Event of the CIVILnEXt Pre-Commercial Procurement project that was held in Athens between the 6th & the 7th of November 2018.
The CIVILnEXt Open Market Consultation event was completed with great success, featuring some highly significant insights about the Tendering process. Representatives from more than 30 organisations (Small, Medium and Large Enterprises) registered in this two-day event that was organized by the Lead procurer partner, KEMEA, with the support of the Coordinator of the Project, NCSR “Demokritos”. It was hosted in a very welcoming conference room in DIVANI Acropolis Hotel at the city center of Athens.
During the first day, the CIVILnEXt consortium presented the project concept and context and an in depth description of the tender process, as well as a video summarizing the project’s aim. The second day was dedicated to the companies that responded positively to the presentation call, giving them the opportunity to highlight their expertise and competencies in relation to the CIVILnEXt needs. Both days were concluded with a section dedicated to open discussion, questions and clarifications that were raised during the event.
The awarding system, the steps & phases, the mandatory & optional requirements, the consortia creation, the Request for Information and the Matchmaking tool were some of the most popular issues that were discussed.
