ahedd, the Digital Innovation Hub of NCSR Demokritos was invited to contribute to the conference Future of Retail 2022, organised by the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship. The event took place physically on 27 and 28 May in Athens.
Dr Denia Kanellopoulou, Innovation Services specialist of ahedd DIH, participated in the panel discussion on Artificial Intelligence in Retail, on Saturday 28 May.
About Future of Retail: The conference was a discussion forum focusing on the interpretation of current facts about trade and the main focus of the two-day conference was the transition from traditional to modern, and in particular to the new wave of digital globalisation and innovation. The conference to map and delineate the new environment in which outlining the need to connect research institutes and commercial enterprises, while highlighting the need for a wider transformation of commercial enterprises. In any case, the goal of Future of Retail 2022 was to turn it into an open forum, in which the broader developments in the retail industry would be decoded and made meaningful.
