Agent DemokriTAC won the AdX game during the Trading Agent Competition 2016, whose finals took place on July 9, 2016 during the 25th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence IJCAI-16.
The DemokriTAC agent was the entry of the SKEL lab of ΙΙΤ, NCSR Demokritos. The team was comprised of undergraduate students Spyros Theodoropoulos and Grigirios Dimopoulos as part of their theses and was lead by Dr Ioannis A. Vetsikas. The Trading Agent Competition is an international competition that promotes research in the field of multi-agent systems and has been taking place annually since 2000.
