On May 4th and 5th 2017 the consortium members of the SAINT project had their first physical meeting. Organized by the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, (coordinator of this endeavor) the 2-day meeting was held in Athens at NCSR “Demokritos” premises. The Project Officer Mr. Markus Müller (EC REA) attended the meeting giving helpful insights and guidelines to all partners.
SAINT -Systemic Analyser in Network Threats- is a 24-month project, funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020 program) under the grant agreement No: 740829. SAINT proposes to analyse and identify incentives to improve levels of collaboration and information sharing in order to enhance cybersecurity.
Dr. Stelios C. A. Thomopoulos Director of Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications and Head of Integrated Systems Laboratory of NCSR “Demokritos” welcomed all members introducing a rich agenda. All partners presented their work plan and identified solutions on future issues facilitating the collaboration and the delivery of the results of the SAINT project.
