In the context of the project Knowledge Valorisation and Awareness Dialogue Among Business People and Newcomers For A Resilient Green Development, a second small-scale forum was held titled: Environmental assessment and EU and National Green Knowledge Valorisation meetings which focused on female engagement in high-tech sectors on Green Deal sectors.
Project partners during the Activity II small scale forum II at NCSR Demokritos
The Forum took place on the premises of NCSR Demokritos on 22 and 23 June 2023 in Athens, Greece. Partners presented the female engagement in high-tech sectors with a focus on Green Deal sectors, in their countries.
The aim of the event was to encourage women to work in high-tech sectors, with a focus on those related to the Green Deal. During the Forum it was explored how the internet can be used to increase the employability and awareness of women entrepreneurs and the use of professional training provided through social networking and e-learning platforms. Participants shared experiences, knowledge and skills, as well as information on women’s employment.

The meeting was attended by the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (Greece), GAZİANTEP GENÇ İŞADAMLARI DERNEĞİ (Turkey), HORIZONTE XXII (Spain), INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE – NGO A.s.b.l (Luxembourg), SDG WORLD (Denmark).
