Efthimis Tsilionis, Researcher at IIT, presented his work on “Tensor-Based Probabilistic Event Calculus” at the 22nd International Conference on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR2025), held in Melbourne, Australia, from 11–17 November 2025.
This research introduces a tensor-based framework for probabilistic event calculus, which enables the representation and reasoning of uncertain events over time in a structured and computationally efficient way. The work aims to improve the scalability and expressiveness of reasoning systems for complex, real-world scenarios, and contributes to IIT’s ongoing research in probabilistic reasoning and knowledge representation.
KR2025 is a leading international conference in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning within Artificial Intelligence, providing a platform for researchers to present developments in areas such as logic, reasoning, planning, and probabilistic methods.
