Organised by NCSR Demokritos and the World Human Forum, in cooperation with the Special Secretariat of Foresight of the Presidency of the Government of the Hellenic Republic, and in affiliation with The Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece – Harvard University, The Lyceum Project 2026 is hosted by the Athens Conservatoire with the primary support of the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA).

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, the Region of Attica, and the National Commission for Bioethics & Technoethics, the initiative brings together leading thinkers from academia, policy, technology, the arts, and civil society to explore this year’s central question:

How might Artificial Intelligence entangle with Ancestral and Animate Intelligence to co-create a life-affirming civilisation?

Through an interdisciplinary dialogue, the event will explore the interconnected and co-evolving relationship between Animate Intelligence, Ancestral Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence, fostering critical discussions on the future of humanity and technology.

Researchers from IIT continue to play an active role in both the organisation and the scientific programme of the initiative, contributing their expertise on trustworthy AI, ethics, digital citizenship, and the societal impact of emerging technologies.

The programme features distinguished speakers from leading universities and organisations worldwide and includes discussions spanning philosophy, sustainability, education, technology governance, and the future development of AI.

Participation is free of charge upon registration.
