The event featured eleven lightning talks by PhD researchers, poster presentations, networking sessions with IIT research labs, and presentations of cross-institutional MSc programmes. Topics ranged from generative AI, computer vision, and audio technologies to AI ethics, intelligent networks, health informatics, and digital education.

A key objective of the event was to create opportunities for interaction between researchers, students, and visitors from other Institutes, while encouraging undergraduate and postgraduate students to explore future MSc and PhD pathways at IIT.

The poster sessions and networking activities fostered active discussions around ongoing research work and opportunities for collaboration, highlighting the strong engagement of IIT’s PhD researchers.

As the first event of its kind at the Institute, IIT Education Day strengthened connections between research, education, and the broader academic community within the IIT ecosystem.
