The official appointment was made in July 2024 during a ceremony led by the Director and Chairman of the Board of NCSR Demokritos, Dr Georgios Nounesis. The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Institute, Dr Vangelis Karkaletsis along with colleagues who gathered to congratulate Dr Kanellopoulou on this significant achievement in her scientific career.
