Dr. Anastasios Kourtis, MNL Lab, Research Director at IIT, introduced the European program 5GENESIS for high speed 5G technologies during the event “Aegaleo Smart City 2020-2030”, which was completed successfully on Monday 18 March 2019, at Aegaleo City Hall in Athens.
During the event, the Municipality’s digital strategy for the next decade was presented along with the promising 5G technology which will be used as a pilot stage in the project. The infrastructures currently being created in the Municipality, as well as the prospects created by these actions will allow the Municipality to actively become a smart city.
